Every moment of your life is known!
The belief that every moment of your life is known comes primarily from Psalm 139 in the Bible. It teaches that God intimately knows everything about you—from your deepest thoughts and every step you take, to the span of your days.
The most famous verses expressing this deep, divine knowledge are:
- Psalm 139:1-3: “O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.
You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.” - Psalm 139:16: Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
Additionally, this theme of being completely known and cared for is echoed throughout scripture, such as in Matthew 10:30, where Jesus reassures His followers that
