Dear God, thank You for opening my eyes to see this new day. Every day is a gift, and I’m so thankful for Your mercy and grace over my life. Your Word in Psalm 90:12 says, “So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” God, I look at this scripture as a reminder of how precious life is. Tomorrow is never promised, so the fact that You have given me today, and every day I’ve experienced, is a blessing more than I’ll ever know. As I step into this day, I’m stepping into it with a heart full of gratitude and praise for Who You are, all that You have done, and how awesome You are. Bless this day with everything that I need to keep going. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Meaning
- “In the morning” / “Early”: This means turning to God first, at the start of a day or early in life, before troubles overwhelm us.
- “Satisfy us”: It is a plea for God to fill the deep hunger of the human heart with His presence, which is the true source of contentment.
- “Rejoice and be glad”: True joy is not based on easy circumstances—in fact, Psalm 90 acknowledges past troubles—but on the steady, unchanging love of God.
Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy, That we may rejoice and be glad all our days!
