Dear God, thank You for this new day and for all the praise, glory, and honor that belong to You. Your word in Ephesians 2:4-5 says, “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great Love with which He Loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ.” God, thank You for Loving me when I didn’t even love myself, and for pulling me out of places I never thought I’d get free from. I know who I am in You now not because of what I’ve done, but because of what You’ve done for me. Today I’m living in a way that brings glory to Your Name. I trust that You hear me, You Love me, and You will never leave me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Active Love: God proved His love through action, not just words.
Unearned Grace: Christ died for people while they were still flawed and disobedient, not after they cleaned up their lives.
Substitution: Jesus took the penalty of human sin upon Himself on the cross. [1, 2]
