Dear God, thank You for bringing me through another day. As I get ready to rest tonight, I’m asking for the kind of peace that doesn’t make sense given everything I might be facing. Your Word in Mark 4:39 says, “Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace, be still!’ And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.” God, just like Jesus was sleeping peacefully in the middle of that storm, I want that same peace over me tonight, not because everything is perfect around me, but because I know Who You are. You forever have the power to speak peace over any storm in my life, and I trust You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
