We sing, say, pronounce “to God be The Glory, Amen.”

We sing, say, pronounce “to God be The Glory, Amen.”
What do we mean? What are we saying?
Yes! To God be The Glory, now and forever, when ‘time’ ceases, He never changes, He is God of ALL! Amen

You were Created, I was Created, we look abroad and all were/was/is created by Him, our Lord and our God! Glory Hallelujah!!! Our God reigns!

God made the day and night, the Sun, Moon and Stars…to us that is “Time”, to the Creator of ‘time’ there is no time. In The Word it is accurate in quoting that a ‘day’ for our Father in Heaven is as a thousand years. A gross estimation, for God Who made ‘time’ there is no time.

We live to decide and to sow seed for harvest. This is a short period in our existence, a micron in our world of existence. We can explain it re: The transfiguration Matthew 17:3. To know who Moses or Elijah was, there were amazing artists over time. Moses in his latter days more likely than not was not drawn nor painted, it says nothing about age. They were seen and addressed with fear and trembling of the disciples with Jesus on the mount.

We exist for always. Our spirit matures, our bodies grow old. The wisdom of a centenegerian is much different from the ‘smarts’ of youth. Our spirit matures with knowledge of The Lord, Amen.
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever! Amen”
2 Peter 3:18

I will share a few verses that speak of growing in knowledge of The LORD. Samuel grew in knowledge and Fellowship with The LORD, and we read more:
https://www.biblestudytools.com/topical-verses/bible-verses-about-growth/

Where and why are we growing? Our existence here is a by-way in existence for experience. We have choices, where, when, how? These were given to us, we who are made in God’s image. As shared, we are in a position a little less than angels Psalm 8:5.
As chosen by God, we in His image are not to worship them:
“While he was saying this to me, I bowed with my face toward the ground and was speechless. Then one who looked like a man touched my lips, and I opened my mouth and began to speak. I said to the one standing before me, “I am overcome with anguish because of the vision, my lord, and I feel very weak. How can I, your servant, talk with you, my lord? My strength is gone and I can hardly breathe.”
Again the one who looked like a man touched me and gave me strength. “Do not be afraid, you who are highly esteemed,” he said. “Peace! Be strong now; be strong.”
When he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, “Speak, my lord, since you have given me strength.”
Daniel 10:15-18

“At this John fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.”
Revelation 19:10

We worship God and God alone!
Here, let us take a look at the 10 commandments. These are Universal laws!
And they start off with our service, gratitude and obeisance to our Creator.
Review them, we will talk them through later.

Be in peace as you place all your needs at God’s feet with Love, expectation and joy. We have a Place to go for all our needs and wants, Amen.

I will enter His gates with Thanksgiving in my heart, I will enter His courts with praise. I will say this is the day that The LORD has made. I will rejoice for He has made me glad, Amen

It is my prayer that the songs we sing stand as guides, support and can extension of The Word. The same way individuals were led to write God’s story, there are those led to write, play and sing to His glory, Amen

Moving Forward with God

“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” – Isaiah 43:18-19

There is an old adage that says, “be careful what you pray for.” Many times in life we pray to God asking Him to change our circumstances, to move us to the next level in our faith walk, to make changes in our lives, to end our season of despair, loneliness, hurt, frustration, and more. You know the prayers, “Father if you would just do…,” “Lord, release me from this…,” “God please change …”, the list goes on and on.

But when the Hand of God moves, do you?

Change in our lives can cause anxiety and fear as we face uncharted waters or look at unnavigated terrain ahead. A new state, a new job, newly married, newly widowed, a new family addition, new friends, new church, new school or a new chapter in your life. Change in the flesh can be unsettling.
So much so that though we have asked God for change in our lives, we stand still and don’t take the first step forward into the new thing God has called us into. We hesitate, question if it is really God leading us, we immobilize ourselves with over-thinking, doubt, fear, anxiety and more. We question our deliverance and cling to the familiar rather than boldly walking forward into the new life He has prepared for us.

When God is doing a new thing in your life, don’t question God, especially after praying for His deliverance in your situation. Don’t carry the things He has delivered you from into your new life. Don’t look back at what you are leaving behind or long for things of old, for in doing so you will block your blessing. Remember Lot’s wife? When God began the destruction of the city of Sodom and Gomorrah for all its sinfulness, He instructed Lot that he and his family should not look back upon the city as they fled the destruction. Lot so warned his family. But his wife, knowing that God was delivering them from the carnage and was doing a new thing in their lives, disobeyed the instructions and looked back upon the city they were running from. Upon doing so, she instantly turned into a pillar of salt!

God wants to do a new thing in your life, but we must be both open and willing to receive it. We cannot straddle the fence of His blessings trying to negotiate the how, when, where or why of the blessing or longing for a life, or person, or job, or material good that He has said to leave behind.

Imagine the disciples, casting of their former lives with no idea of what was ahead of them, or where they would sleep, or what they would eat or if they’d be welcomed or rebuked. What faith their lives serve to show us as a true example of trusting God for ALL things— even their daily portions!!

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?” –Matthew 6:25

Could you adhere to such a Word? Can you truly trust God for your ALL? Will you blindly go wherever He leads, without doubt, fear or question? If you pray to receive, will you openly trust and receive what He gives you, or where He sends you? Will you move forward to where He is leading you, trusting that He has made provisions for you upon your arrival? Or that that new job, new spouse, new friend, new town, new life is the next step in your faith walk?
Surrender to His Will and His Love for you and allow that Love to propel you forward to where He is taking you trusting and believing with each step that He is in control and He makes no mistakes. When overcome with apprehension, fear or doubt that immobilizes your next steps, fall to your knees and pray to the Father and ask that He strengthen you so that you can keep moving. The Word will empower and motivate you to keep moving, keep pressing forward so Read It, Study It and Commit It to memory!!!

Leave your past in the past. Don’t look back like Lot’s wife. God has something new and better waiting in front of you, Not behind you!!! So, Keep it moving.

For of God – our Father, and through The Love of our lives, and to our ALL, are all things: to our El Shaddai be glory for always. Amen.

For of God – our Father, and through The Love of our lives, and to our ALL, are all things: to our El Shaddai be glory for always. Amen.
Romans 11:36 King James Version (KJV)

Y’all we have sung this song in church fellowships and in ‘quiet times.’ Know what you sing, hum, say Amen.

El shaddai el yonna Adonai, er kam ka na Adonai
English translation: God Almighty, God in the highest, Lord. We will love You, Oh, Lord.

And we worship our Lord, Amen
El shaddai (God Almighty) el shaddai,
El-elyon na adonia (God Most High, please my Lord.)
Age to age you’re still the same (Our God changes not, He is the same Yesterday, today and for always, Amen),
By the power of The name.
El shaddai, el shaddai,
Erkamka na adonai,
(El-Elyon na Adonai (אל עליון נא אדני) is a combination of two names for God, meaning “God Most High, please my Lord”. (The ‘ai’ in ‘Adonai’ is a possessive.) Na (נא) is a particle of entreaty, translated “please” or “I/we beseech thee”)
We will praise and lift you high,
El shaddai.
Through your love and through the ram,
You saved the son of abraham;
Through the power of your hand,
Turned the sea into dry land.
To the outcast on her knees,
You were the God who really sees,
And by your might,
You set your children free.
El shaddai, el shaddai,
El-elyon na adonia,
Age to age you’re still the same,
By the power of the name.
El shaddai, el shaddai,
Erkamka na adonai,
We will praise and lift you high,
El shaddai.
Through the years you’ve made it clear,
That the time of christ was near,
Though the people couldn’t see
What messiah ought to be.
Though your word contained the plan,
They just could not understand
Your most awesome work was done
Through the frailty of your son.
El shaddai, el shaddai,
El-elyon na adonai,
Age to age you’re still the same,
By the power of the name.
El shaddai, el shaddai,
Erkamka na adonai,
I will praise yo ’till I die,
El shaddai.
El shaddai, el shaddai,
El-elyon na adonai,
Age to age you’re still the same,
By the power of the name.
El shaddai, el shaddai,
Erkamka na adonai,
I will praise you ’till I die.
El shaddai.

“Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?”
God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’ ”
God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’
“This is my name forever,
the name you shall call me
from generation to generation.”
Exodus 3:13-15

The Hebrews felt that God\’s name was too sacred to pronounce so they eliminated the vowels and used YHWH which was unpronounceable. Still, they had to be clear about whom they meant so they often spoke of Adonai – the LORD who is GOD. If this name was used to mean someone other than God, \”Adoni\” was used which was a common word for one who was a master and ruler.

Psalm 110:1 provides a good starting point to understand who \”Adonai\” is:

\”The Lord (YHWH) said to my Lord (Adonai) \’Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.\” …\”

So y’all let us stand schooled, be blessed – Amen

We need to share…

Folks, there are so many people with testimonies (simply sharing what The Lord has done foe you.)

Amazing! You caught a bus, something that slipped out of your hand did not break (and should have), despite conditions ‘things’ worked out well, folks an endless stream.

I was moved to say, “let us share.”
Why? Just what happened to you, might be just what somebody somewhere else needs to hear.

Peace, hope and faith…all covered in Love is the way to go! Amen.

If possible a little recording, either audio or video will do an extra mile of good!

In no simple words – share!

There is another website of Facebook by the same name – Injesusname.blog check it out.
There is a link to share and/or email. Feel free to be blessed as you share.

One thing my Spirit keeps returning to is the chapter is Ecclesiastes that repeatedly talks about the fact that ALL things have happened before and will happen again:
“What has happened before will happen again. What has been done before will be done again. There is nothing new in the whole world.
“Look,” they say, “here is something new!” But no, it has all happened before, long before we were born.
No one remembers what has happened in the past, and no one in days to come will remember what happens between now and then.
I, the Philosopher, have been king over Israel in Jerusalem.
I determined that I would examine and study all the things that are done in this world. God has laid a miserable fate upon us.
I have seen everything done in this world, and I tell you, it is all useless. It is like chasing the wind.
You can’t straighten out what is crooked; you can’t count things that aren’t there.
I told myself, “I have become a great man, far wiser than anyone who ruled Jerusalem before me. I know what wisdom and knowledge really are.”
I was determined to learn the difference between knowledge and foolishness, wisdom and madness. But I found out that I might as well be chasing the wind.
The wiser you are, the more worries you have; the more you know, the more it hurts.”
Ecclesiastes 1:9-18

Here, there is an unspoken message to share, a fact that we have shared is that history as we know it is His-story. There are arguments, a fact is that ALL we see in Physics and the essentials of Science came from the unseen. Neutrons, electrons, atoms…seen them? We have studied proof that they exist, but where from?
I would be remiss to spout all this already written material, when we can simply link you:

Again, we have a leading to share:

How to Spread the Word of God

Pray for courage. One of the hardest things about spreading God’s good news is gathering the courage to do it.

Be bold. Don’t think ‘I’ll just get persecuted.’

Be persistent! (Not annoying! Let your life speak, you are created to be an example. ” What she/he has, I want it!”

Tell everyone around you, then everyone else. (Share.)

Read the Bible and obey God, just what and how we should do it is in The Word. Holding, keeping it as a decoration is a loss! You have a pot of gold! And you ignore it. Bored, lonely? Speak to God! Amazingly, we might have heard the song: “What a friend we have in Jesus! ALL our sins and griefs he bore and we share! What a privilege to carry EVERYTHING to God in prayer.”
We have sung that so many times without actually thinking of what it truly means!

Honesty and Trust.
The development of honesty and trust in a friendship helps those involved feel comfortable confiding in and communicating with each other. According to Director of Research and Education at the Glendon Association, author and clinical psychologist Dr. Lisa Firestone, mutual honesty between friends helps build a solid relationship and encourages integrity and directness in general life in and outside the friendship. Honesty also leads to trust, which is another important quality. You should be able to trust your friend and expect the same in return.

Listen

Though it may seem like a simple task, listening is very important in a friendship. Making an effort to listen when your friend is discussing or explaining a topic of interest is a form of respect. It also helps show that you actually want to learn about things that are important to your friend. To show you are listening, you can ask questions, maintain eye contact and provide feedback on the subject during and after a conversation.

Having Fun and Benefits

You should make your friend feel accepted by including him or her in activities that you both enjoy. This is true of friendships at every age; from childhood to late adulthood. Having fun and feeling comfortable are important characteristics of friendships. There are many other benefits that can result from a strong friendship. For example, the MayoClinic notes that friendships boost happiness, reduce stress, improve self worth and encourage healthy habits.

To understand just what it means, we have to seriously consider all points.
A friend?
Be there for them when they need you in their hard times.

Also, bond with them by having fun together.
Our short list discusses so very much.
Have fun together?

I will touch on this…Who made comedy, comedians? Who was the first being to laugh? Imagine you are a constructor on a project and something positively unexpected occurs. A smile, a chuckle, a laugh?

He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall hold them in derision. —Psalm 2:4

No! His same infinite greatness that mocks man’s defiance also marks His sympathy for man in his lost condition. He’s the same God who takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked (Ezekiel 33:11). And He was the incarnate Savior who wept over Jerusalem when His own people rejected Him (Matthew 23:37-39). He is great in judgment but also in compassion (Exodus 34:6-7).

God’s laughter gives us the assurance that Christ will ultimately triumph over evil. Any defiance of Him and His will is futile. Instead of opposing the Son, we should submit to the Lord Jesus and take refuge in Him.

God dwells in light and holiness,
In splendor and in might;
It’s godly fear of His great power
That helps us do what’s right. -D. De Haan

To return to how to spread The Word:

Search for ways to spread the Word.
Sharing testimonies! “What The Lord has done for me, I cannot tell it all…” Factual? Or just a song we ‘recite’ in service? Share people! How is someone else in the same/exact situation that you have bested to climb out of the hole?
Jesus told the disciples to expect trials. He begins John 16 by stating (16:1, 2), “These things I have spoken to you so that you may be kept from stumbling. They will make you outcasts from the synagogue, but an hour is coming for everyone who kills you to think that he is offering service to God.” He ends that chapter in a similar vein (16:33), “These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”
Yet in spite of these words and many other similar Scriptures (John 15:18; Acts 14:22; 1 Thess. 3:3-4; 2 Tim. 3:12), many that profess to know Christ stumble and fall away when they get hit with various trials. If you’re going to persevere with Christ, you must know in advance that you will face times when you are in the pit, and you must know what to do when you’re there. Rather than turning away from the Lord, you must learn to turn to Him to rescue you from life’s pits.

And live the Example to others.

We have been given the encouraging word, to spread The Word, Amen.

Psalm 37:18, 4

I was about to say “I tripped on a verse.” But in truth, I knew just where I was going.
Right quick,  let us Psalm it:

The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. Delight thyself also in The LORD: and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Psalm 37:18, 4

What to, how to and why to.
Be blessed, Amen

Spiritual Gifts and a Purpose-Filled Life

Knowledge of what spiritual gift(s) God placed in you makes this Christian journey more purpose-filled.

Unsure of your purpose? Before you were born, God placed spiritual gifts in you to enable you to fulfill your destiny and be a blessing to His Kingdom. Pray for enlightenment as to your purpose and gifts from Our Father. He will reveal them unto you. Your spiritual gift(s) will provide for you and others.

The seven (7) spiritual gifts are Fear of the Lord, wisdom, understanding, piety, counsel, fortitude and knowledge. They are springboards into fulfilling your purpose in your life through your avocation, relationships and of course Christian walk.

There are nine (9) fruits of the Holy Spirit when you live in holy accord with Him. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, patience, faithfulness and self-control.

The term Discernment of Spirits or Spiritual Discernment is considered a special gift from God of enlightenment or intuitive light to see into other spiritual agents or persons for the purpose of ‘seeing’ their moral influence/fabric. There are four such agents: concupiscence, devils/evil, angels and divine grace. The first two are demonic agents the last two good. Those with a discerning spirit are able to ‘judge’ the impulse or actions or influence as having originated from one or more of these agents. Discernment of the Spirit is a term with its roots in Roman and Orthodox Catholicism, and Charismatic (Evangelistic) Christianity.

Study 1 Corinthians 12:4-5; Romans 12:4-6 and 1 Peter 4:10 for starts.
