Why we Fellowship

Are you lonely?

Do you need a hug/kind word/listening ear?

We are in a state of need it seems at all times.  Phonecalls, letters, emails?  All just to help you feel remembered, needed.

What happens when you go home (Heaven), to the place you belong? Our lessons here are learned, and we pass them on.

More importantly, we have a responsibility/responsibilities. What have you done during your time here?  Your children’s future, how will you be remembered ?

All these are questions we aim to answer each day of our existence.  More to come, or is there?

“Just as I have Loved you, you should love each other.  Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

John 13:34-35

Loving one another is central in Christian faith and teaching. There are many Bible verses telling us about loving one another, and here are ten of them presented to you as inspiration.

The message you heard from the very beginning is this: we must love one another. (1 John 3:11)

And now I give you a new commandment:  Love one another as I have loved you, so you must love one another. (John 13:34)

Do not take revenge on others or continue to hate them, but love your neighbors as you love yourself.  I am the Lord. (Leviticus 19:18)

Above everything, love one another earnestly, because love covers over many sins. (1 Peter 4:8)

Be under obligation to no one—the only obligation you have is to love one another. Whoever does this has obeyed the Law. (Romans 13:8)

My children, our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action. (1 John 3:18)

No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God lives in union with us, and his love is made perfect in us. We are sure that we live in union with God and that He lives in union with us, because He has given us His Spirit. (1 John 4:12-13)

Do all your work in love. (1 Corinthians 16:14)

Be always humble, gentle, and patient. Show your love by being tolerant with one another. Do your best to preserve the unity which the Spirit gives by means of the peace that binds you together. (Ephesians 4:2-3)

To conclude: you must all have the same attitude and the same feelings; love one another, and be kind and humble with one another. Do not pay back evil with evil or cursing with cursing; instead, pay back with a blessing, because a blessing is what God promised to give you when He called you. (1 Peter 3:8-9)

It seems EVERYTHING is based on Love. Love your neighbor as yourself, means we love ourselves. “Gimme, gimme, gimme!”,  “I want, I want, I want…” “I deserve that more than they do.” Hold up! Instead of focusing on yourself, put someone else’s needs first and see how He blesses you. Kinda makes sense doesn’t it? “I want them to have!” Becomes our mantra. Love, is it not? We know, or have an idea, what comes next. Love it! Amen.

WHAT IS THIS LIFE?

A man lives in  a mansion today, Tomorrow he lives
underground.

A man drives a car today, Tomorrow an ambulance

drives him.

A man reads biology today, Tomorrow a biography

is been read of him.

A man eats whatever he wants today, Tomorrow he

becomes food for insects.

A man is always early for work today, Tomorrow he

is termed late Mr/Mrs.

A man is seen resting in his house today, Tomorrow he is resting in a coffin. And they say “Rest In Peace”!

A man eats all kinds of fruits in his house today,

Tomorrow he becomes manure to those trees.

A man is known today as the richest man ever,

Tomorrow he doesn’t even know where or what will

happen to his riches.

What is life after all?

Plan your life because you may not see tomorrow.

But when your life is well planned you won’t Be

afraid of any thing.

ACT RIGHT AND LIVE GODLY. ALWAYS BE A HELPING HAND TO OTHERS.

Come to think of this?…….

1. Eternal life = free

2. Church entrance = free

3. Christ’s salvation = free

4. God’s love = free

5. Breath of life = free

A. Cigarette = pay

B. Prostitution = pay

C. Alcohol =pay

D. Nightclub entrance fee= pay

E. Powers to rule the world = pay

Then why are people paying for hell while PARADISE is free?

Think twice

Believe in Christ and you shall be saved..

We always think of Valentine’s day

Birth day

Father’s day

Mother’s day

Children’s day

Our day,

Farmer’s day

Teacher’s day

Christmas day

Independence day

Boxing day,

This day,

That day,

Day in Day out.

Have u ever thought of Judgement Day, is it going to be a day of celebration or condemnation for you?

If you are safe, what about your friends & loved ones. Show them love by telling them about the Judgement Day. Please pass this to your 14 loved ones, let heaven be happy for you today. Please don’t say later, do it now because tomorrow may be too late. I’ll love to receive it if am among d people you care about. Am waiting…

The Power of Communing and Communion (The Eucharist)

There are two powerful weapons in our Christian arsenal that we can share about today on this first Sunday of the Year 2018.

They are…communing with God and sharing the holy act of taking communion or the Eucharist with Him.  Both strengthen our relationship and draw us closer to Him.

In many branches of Zion, the first Sunday of each month is the day we partake in Holy Communion or Eucharist which is a translation of the Greek word, Eucharisto which means “to give thanks at a meal” or a “love feast” or “Agape meal”.  (*Note: other churches engage in the Eucharist on other Sundays, some the last Sunday or the 2nd or 3rd, regardless once a month is a time to participate in this sacred service.)

Let’s look at it for a moment.  Read 1 Corinthians 10:16, 1 Cor. 11:24, 26, Matthew 26:28 and John 6:56

Just what is the Eucharist or Holy Communion?

The origins of the Eucharist begin when Jesus and His disciples participated in what would be His Last Supper, or Agape Feast with them.  During this meal He gave them bread and instructed them to eat it because it represented His holy body.  He then gave them drink or wine and told them to drink it because it represented the Covenant of His blood.  These instruments of food to the true believer signify our covenant with Him and our communion with Christ in His death. The bread and wine draw in our minds a visual image of His body being battered and abused and dripping with the blood, signified by the wine, of His blood sacrifice in order for us to be reconciled back unto Our Father in Heaven.

Very powerful and potent is the act of taking communion or the Eucharist, which is why we are warned if we are not saved and a member of Christ’s body of believers, if we come to the table with hatred or malice in our hearts, discontentment, resentment or have unresolved issues with others, we are not to partake in this act or we risk damnation unto our soul.

https://www.ligonier.org/blog/when-should-you-not-take-communion/

Let me repeat this for many miss this part.

The Eucharist or Holy Communion is not to be taken lightly!   If you have not confessed your sins to God, accepted and proclaimed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior over your life, and asked His Holy Spirit to dwell within you do not partake in this sacred meal.  If you are saved and have jealousy, envy, hatred or malice in our hearts, discontentment, resentment or have unresolved issues with others, if you have ill feelings about someone, lurid thoughts, or wickedness in your heart do not to partake as you risk damnation unto your very soul.

For God will not be mocked!  He knows the real you! He knows your every thought.  He hears your every word.  He observes your every deed.  He knows the anger, malice, hatred and other attributes of Satan that dwell or surround you.  You cannot come to The Table of the Sinless One who gave His life for your eternal salvation and eat of His body and drink of His blood with unclean hearts, minds, words, thoughts or deeds.

Would you risk your salvation?  I pray not.

The Bible, our book of Life’s Instructions, admonishes us to go to your brother or sister, husband or wife, friend or foe, or maybe it is someone at work, or your neighbor or someone that you may not approve of in your child’s life, whomever you have strife with you must MAKE IT RIGHT!!!

More importantly, you must do this BEFORE you next take communion.  You must Forgive and Seek Forgiveness.  It is Biblical. You must go to that person, forgive them AND seek their forgiveness.  If they are in The Body, that will be a mutual experience.

“Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup” (1 Cor. 11:28).

“If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:8-9

“But when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that we may not be condemned along with the world.” 1 Corinthians 11:32

Make it right with God first, then those with whom you have strife or ill feelings.  God is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you with His grace so that you can remain in communion with Him.  If the person you harbor ill against will not speak to you, take an elder or a saved person with you to help settle your differences.

The next weapon is Communing with God.

Your relationship with God is prefaced on your daily communing or talking to Him!  If your hands, heart or mind is harboring anger, malice, bitterness or hatred, you are blocking your own prayers, your lifeline to Him because He cannot hear you when you are filled with demonic rage or spirits that are not pure and of Him.  Do you not see the parallels?  The correlation to your walk?

My sisters and brothers, your salvation and relationship with Our Father are at risk if you don’t and then continue to harbor those emotions.  Just look at what happened to Lucifer now known as Satan (the devil) who was God’s hand-picked praise and worship leader in Heaven but who allowed jealousy, envy, hatred and anger to overtake him leading to his being kicked out of Heaven to dwell in this wretched place.

Don’t follow his example.  Wouldn’t you rather have a clean heart and peace in your spirit my brethren?

Of this, I am sure!

Stay in His Will and live under His Authority!  Amen

Y’all I just had to share this. I did not pen it, but it is so true…

➖➖➖➖➖➖

Life is not about finding the right person, but creating the right relationship. It’s not how we care in the beginning, but how much we care till the very end.

➖➖➖➖➖➖

Some people always throw stones in your path. It depends on what you make with them; a Wall or a Bridge? – Remember you are the architect of your life.

➖➖➖➖➖➖

Search for a good heart, but don’t search for a beautiful face, coz beautiful things are not always good, but good things are always beautiful.

➖➖➖➖➖➖

It’s not important to hold all the good cards in life, but it’s important how well you play with the cards you hold.

➖➖➖➖➖➖

Often when we lose all hope & think this is the end, remember God and pray, it’s just a bend, not the end.’

➖➖➖➖➖➖

Have faith and have a successful life. One of the basic differences between God and humans is, God gives and forgives. But the human gets and forgets. Be thankful in life…

➖➖➖➖➖➖

If u think it is your alarm clock that woke you up this morning, try putting it beside a dead body and you will realise that it is the Grace of God that woke you up.

➖➖➖➖➖➖

It is JUST BY THE GRACE OF God that we are alive… We were all created for and with a purpose. Realize it, strive toward it, pray unceasinly- there is no Season for prayer. We add seasoning to spice up food. We pray unceasingly/with extra seasoning to speak to God in and out of season. Want to ‘jazz’ it up? Start seeking God’s face, soon you will be so wet, you will drip and soak those around you in Jesus’ name, Amen

Let us see, just want to ask a simple question. Do you have The Spirit? We are able in Christ to do all things, even those which seem ‘physically’ impossible. One exanple,we all know well is of a young boy too slight to be enlisted in the army. Instead was sent out as a shepher. Training! We shall see. Wolves, birds, bears and all kind sought to steal off with the herd he was to ‘watch’. Again gearing up for the coning time. Possibly, though it is not said specifically, he was the Apple of his father’s eye. One day he,was sent to bring supplies to his brothers.
Here, I come to a screeching halt. Possibly he had heard of Goliath and his challenges to the soldiers of Isreal.
Saul and the Israelites are facing the Philistines in the Valley of Elah. Twice a day for 40 days (This number 40 is a spoken word in The Scripture. Moses, fasted 40 days, Jesus fasted 40 days etc We,can be moved to assume that it was a period of time) morning and evening, Goliath, the champion of the Philistines, comes out between the lines and challenges the Israelites to send out a champion of their own to decide the outcome in single combat, but Saul is afraid.
But David heard and offered to be The one who would rise to the challenge. Disuasion was attempted. He was offered so much, even the battle regalia of the king-too heavy. He then went to a brook and picked out 5 stones, placed them in his satchel. “Goodbye David, it was nice knowing a ‘fool’ like you.”
“I am here to answer the challenge of Goliath.”
“Puny runt.” Goliath must have thought as he ambled toward the runt to do him quickly off. David was relaxed, now imagine Goliath was, suited for war, a helmet, a breastplate, his loins girded.
We in this current time have weapons of warfare:

“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.
The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.”
2 Corinthians 10:3-6

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Ephesians 6:12-17

We see that our weapons, are not carnal or temporal, they are for all ways in Jesus’ name, Amen

And Jesus said unto those gathered at His assumption into that which lies beyond (a parallel permanent existence) It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in His own power (again sermons pl. Can be shared on this.)
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward Heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel. Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into Heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into Heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
Just sharing. Be blessed and have an awesome season in Jesus’ name. You can hopefully see why I share of “seasons” and not ‘time’. In being chanced a glimpse into where we shall be, time did not exist. It was my season to ‘see, experience and know.’ Difficult at times to explain, but let us each in their own existence strive to be, to do, to access the fields of glory, Amen
